We’re planning to make the most of the Diamond Jubilee weekend here in the village. On Saturday 2nd June we will be at the Old High School in Kibworth taking part in a special Jubilee version of Lulu’s Vintage & Home Made Fair. Back home for a Traditional Hogg Roast in the local pub on Sunday night. Then on the 4th there’s a 50′s themed party in the Village Hall followed by the lighting of a special Jubilee Beacon, and if we have any energy left there’s a Traditional Street Party on the 5th.

It’s the perfect excuse to get out our finest vintage crockery, invite family & friends and start making lots and lots of bunting. Now where did I put that sewing machine…….
